Bill Stern says, "Your Coma Could Be One of My Comas"

Bill Stern has been one of the funniest comedians in Chicago at least since he and I were put on an improv team together in 2008. His sketch group Cigarette Sandwich is a powerhouse, constantly churning out new, original material.

Bill's proximity to my coma gives him an intimate perspective for answering the "What's your coma?" question. We talk about some big losses in his life and whether he actually learns lessons from them, the confidence he got from auditioning for SNL, and we plan a prank for his funeral that combines Werner Herzog's "Grizzly Man" and silent discos.

Watch "The Power Half Hour," Cigarette Sandwich's tornado-paced sketch comedy pilot (30 sketches in 30 minutes!).
